Reception/waiting area Our
large waiting room overlooks surrounding countryside thus providing
a peaceful and noise free environment.
We
have used our large food stand to split the waiting room into
separate dog and cat waiting areas. We stock a full range of
Royal Canin ‘vet size’ feline and canine diets catering for all
ages from weaning to geriatrics.
On
the same stand we also stock a range of colourful safety cat
collars, cat toys and grooming equipment as well as dust free safe
litter. A separate stand offers dog leads, harnesses and behaviour
modifying toys such as Kongs.
Our waiting area
is well supplied with informative displays that are changed on a
regular basis.
The cat waiting
area is at the far end of the room, minimizing passing dog traffic.
There are chairs for clients and a small table so that cat baskets
can be placed off the ground. This area is also equipped with a
Feliway diffuser and the canine area with DAP both of which help to
reduce stress levels.
Note
that we offer a cat only consulting time once a week on a Wednesday
evening from 4pm till 5pm.
The
dog waiting area is larger and has a dog parking facility so that
collecting medications is easier. We also have a side door for those
canine patients who are not so keen on other dogs - or who might
have an infectious illness.
