Nurse clinics

Our qualified nurses run a range of clinics including dental club, senior care, bunny club and even chubby club! (See below for more details).

Nurses may also carry out microchipping of dogs and cats, and perform blood tests and other procedures.

Chubby club:

This is clinic is by far the most popular and is open to overweight dogs, cats and rabbits. The clinic gives clients an opportunity to discuss diet, exercise and all problems associated with obesity. All patients reaching their target weight will be awarded a certificate.

Dental clinic:

This clinic is open to all of our patients and is especially recommended following dental treatment. Our nurses can advise on all aspects of oral hygiene including diets and brushing.

Senior clinic:

Animals age faster than us! This clinic offers free advice on nutrition, medical conditions and other factors affecting our mature companions. It is open to small dogs and cats over the age of eight, and large dogs over the age of six.

Bunny club:

Many conditions affecting pet rabbits can be linked to inadequate fibre in their diets. Our nurses are available to discuss these issues as well as housing, behaviour and general care of rabbits.

Other procedures:

As well as our clinics the nurses will also weigh and worm dogs and cats, remove sutures or staples, apply spot-on treatments and give advice on training and behaviour.

The photo to the right shows administration of a spot-on flea control product.

Caroline and Clair also run Puppy parties on some weekday evenings.
