Caring for your pet

For over twenty years, Ivy Lodge Veterinary Clinic has been focusing on the care of pet animals, aiming to provide the same standard of care as you would expect to receive yourself in hospital.

Our experienced veterinary surgeons and nurses are continuously updating their knowledge and skills to bring your pet the level of care they deserve. We were one of only four practices to be awarded a gold award by the Feline Advisory Bureau.

You will usually see the same veterinary surgeon with your pet at every visit, ensuring complete continuity of care.

House visits:

House visits are not encouraged for routine appointments. You may feel your pet is too ill to visit the surgery, but seriously ill pets normally require hospitalisation to be treated intensively. We can provide only a limited service on a house visit, as most of our equipment is not portable.

If you do require a home visit - for a euthanasia, for example - please give us at least 24 hours notice.

Repeat prescriptions:

Please note that we normally require 24 hours notice for repeat prescriptions. Visit the dispensary page.
