Dealing with a crisis?

Emergencies during opening hours

If your pet appears seriously ill or sustains injuries which require urgent attention during our opening hours, please call the practice on 01708 373671 before you bring your pet in, in order that we can be fully prepared for your arrival.

If your pet may have eaten or drunk something toxic, please bring the container with you so that we can find out exactly what has been swallowed.

Emergencies out of opening hours

If your pet becomes seriously ill or is injured out of opening hours, emergency care will be provided by the dedicated service at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMH) as seen on the television programme 'Supervets'. The hospital’s vets and nursing staff are specially trained to deal with emergency and critical care cases, and have dedicated facilities including an intensive care unit.

Please call our usual telephone number, 01708 373671, and your call will be automatically diverted to the QMH.

The hospital is located off junction 23 of the M25 and is sign-posted 'Royal Vet College'. For directions, click here (link opens in a new window).
